Nikko Bali News - February 2009


Nikko Bali Resort & Spa recently invited their media associates on February 11 th, 2009 to a special session with the resort’s executive chef, Jűrgen Domani. Innovatively taking the gathering another STEP UP, this year the journalists were presented with an interactive event of a 3-course cooking lesson. With delicious signature dishes of the resort’s latest addition – The Shore restaurant and bar, easy to find ingredients and simple methods, 9 journalists were challenged to drop their pens and pick up the pans. As they entered the preparation area at the resort’s main kitchen, the group was divided into three, in charge of each dish.

The hours were filled with laughter and excitement as they cut, chopped, boiled their way through the day. After the preparation, they got to experience the actual condition of the restaurant back of the house where they have to prepare the dishes for their ‘guests’. Finished with a lunch at The Shore, all were pleased with what they’ve accomplished, a well prepared dish with a fantastic presentation and taste.

s the day ended, each left with a content smile and excitement of what would be the next fresh experience presented by Nikko Bali Resort & Spa.
