JAPANESE GIRL’S DAY AT NIKKO BALI RESORT AND SPA

A Taste of Hina-matsuri Celebration at Nikko Bali Resort and Spa

Hina-matsuri or the Japanese Doll Festival, also known as Girl’s Day is celebrated on March 3 every year by displaying a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period. This year, Nikko Bali Resort and Spa celebrates this culture by presenting the Girl’s Day menu that will be served at Benkay, the resort’s signature Japanese restaurant.

With a seven course set menu created by the restaurant’s chef, Miyake Takahiro, guests can enjoy fresh sushi, sashimi, clam soup, deep fried prawns, mini chirasi-sushi and to finish a sweet red bean jelly. This menu is only exclusively available from March 1st to the 3rd, due to its limited availability and a prior reservation is required.
