A Visit From a 2.8 Ton VIP Guest

What would you do when someone tells you that a 2.8 ton guest is coming to your place? We didn’t know what to do either but we rolled out the ‘red carpet’ and prepared a warm welcome that is uniquely Nikko Bali for this particular VIP guest.

Meet Murni, the Sumatran elephant, the ‘diva’ of Bali Safari and Marine Park, that visited us one beautiful morning in July with her entourage. She visited us for the “Safari Goes to Hotels” program to promote her ‘home’ to the resort’s guests along with the conservation program that the park is doing to most of the earth’s endangered species.
